Procter & Gamble CEO Bob McDonald said sales haven’t been hurt so far by an increase in selling prices caused by rising raw-material costs, according to an article in Le Figaro. Specifically, P&G’s spending on raw materials will increase by $1.8 billion this year, although P&G is absorbing 50-60% of that through cost reduction, according to McDonald.
